Martial arts combine exercise, discipline, stress relief and self-confidence in a single workout. Every technique is adapted to each student's body and pace.
That's why a 6-year-old and a 50-year-old can train at the same academy, each with different goals and classes. Some of the benefits our students mention most:
- Better conditioning, strength and mobility.
- Real self-defense skills and physical endurance.
- Focus, discipline and respect, on and off the mats.
- Less stress and a welcoming, friendly community.
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for Kids and Teens
Our BJJ Kids program is split by age group, so every child learns at the right pace. The Little Champs class welcomes the youngest students with short, fun sessions on Mondays and Wednesdays. (Days and times subject to change.)
Big Champs and Jiu Jitsu For Kids (ages 5–12) go deeper into technique, coordination and confidence. Parents from Gloucester, Rockport and Essex often notice better focus at school and less shyness.
For teenagers, our Jiu Jitsu For Teens class trains on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays with a complete program. Learn more about our Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Kids program.
