He is Brazilian, father, son and brother. Felipe started practicing martial arts at school at the age of 8, first in karate.

Felipe always liked contact sports, moving on to judo, muay thai, and then at the age of 15, a friend of his father @markinho_mill led him to discover jiu-jitsu. In his first few months of jiu-jitsu, he would come home with marks from the fight.
His mother @vaninha.jampa always said that she was paying for her son to get beaten up. Felipe always replied that he was going to learn the sport. He lost his first fights, but continued to persist and dedicate himself. Today Felipe is a black belt, a student of teacher @arthurcesarbjj, currently living in Massachusetts – USA, working with jiu-jitsu at the DF Fitness & Martial Arts Center, @dffitnessmacenter located in Gloucester, Massachusetts. The academy where he is successful as a Jiu Jitsu teacher, especially with the younger ones, for being very cheerful and outgoing, and in the city of North and also in his friend @brabos_bjj. Felipe is always willing to learn something new.
Felipe is also a self-defense instructor. He thinks the sport has been good for him, as he’s made new friends like the owner of the @Danifontes86 gym and reconnected with old friends like his teacher and friend @robson_mau_mau from Mau Mau Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Felipe is a true story of how we can make choices, and those choices can impact our lives and the lives of others. Thanks to jiu-jitsu, Felipe has made friends and traveled to places he never imagined he could go.
He is currently a 2nd degree black belt and has a promising future ahead of him!
